I love winter. It is a season of snow and a paradise of white. It displays the purity of nature, and power, and beauty! Am I afraid of the cold, you might wonder? Not really. In such a season, I would wrap myself with thick clothes and not give the icy winds a chance to get into my body. And this winter, I joined my classmates and traveled to the North America to enjoy the beautiful scenery and have some fun.
When I got there I disappointedly found that I left my boots behind! What a nightmare! I thought wearing a pair of sports shoes before we got there will be OK cuz we are on the journey and it was not so cold here. But who can predict that I would be so careless. But before long, my regret disappeared all of a sudden. I unexpectedly found that a large number of my friends had bought new boots this year. They were so stylistic and trendy. Just a look at them made me feel warm in the cold whether. I began to thank god for giving me such a perfect excuse to avoid my being embarrassed. I have kept my old boots for 3 years. I had no idea that their counterparts had become so different and cute just in 3 years' time.
